Frequently Asked Questions

This area will help answer common questions that we receive from time to time. If you do not see a question that pertains to your needs, please review the services section, as we have tried to explain the services completely. If you still need help, please call us at (614) 878-5336 or email us at mattgoff@creativexposurept.com and we will be glad to help.

1. Who will be the photographer during my session?

During your 'personal touch' photo session, my wife Chariti and myself will be the only people in the room with you and one guest of your choice. Our photo studio is separated from all other rooms and your privacy will always come first. We will try to accomodate your wishes at all times. Chariti will help you with posing ideas and wardrobe placement while I'm adjusting the lighting and setting camera angles for the optimal exposure.

2. From the gallery on this site, I see nudity. Is nudity optional?

Nudity is always optional. We will never ask you to do anything that you may be uncomfortable with. This service is provided to individuals who want to be creative with their mind and body. Some models prefer to wear seductive undergarments or drape silky fabrics over certain body areas. And of course, some models love the freedom and excitment of nudity and the feeling of creating the highest form of self esteem.

3. How does a typical session work, what should I expect and what are your rates?

A typical session will last for 1-3 hours depending on many different factors such as wardrobe changes, posing styles, props used and resting periods. When you arrive at our home the first thing we will do is establish a level of comfort by explaining our service in detail, if you wish, and answering any questions. We will show you our comfortable studio and offer you different choices for the many types of coverage, lighting, posing and wardrobe options you have. If you don't already have your own ideas, thats OK. We will help you with turning a concept into reality.

During the image gathering process, Chariti will help you with posing and creating a sense of confidence. I will listen to your wishes for lighting, and create mood and contrast by using angles, colors and shadows to help accentuate the features of your choice. Some customers like high key low contrast artistic prints, and others prefer the low light high contrast figure images. There really is no limit to being creative with the human body.

When the session has ended, we will explain the process of viewing your proofs. Within five days of your session, we will create a pesonal online gallery for you to view your proofs online. We will make changes and adjustments to the images for optimal results with artistic style. You may then request further enhancements and/or create an order from the gallery. After we receive the order and create the prints or CD, we will call to schedule delivery. Thats it! Very easy.

4. Why does Creative Xposure use the digital format instead of film?

The film format has always been the preferred method of photo development for as long as pictures have been taken. In recent years the digital camera industry has been making great strides in improving picture resolution and clarity. At this point in time, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the two formats. As a result, the flexibility of the digital equipment along with new conceptual photo techniques have now made the digital format more efficient and cost effective for the customer. Also, the chemicals required for film development are considered toxic and are very expensive.
